My life on sheets

I wrote a three-page speech, and by far, in my opinion, is the best speech I have ever written for just a measly one hour of my stolen time. Ironically, it's a speech I made for somebody else to deliver.

For as long as I can remember, it has been  in my bucketlist to deliver a speech that can move my audience. Just when I didn't expect it, a dear friend accomplished it for me.

When she delivered the speech, I felt like I was the one talking, in which every lines she uttered is also a discreet story of my life.

EXCERPT:
I am proud to say that I made mistakes; that I made stupid decisions; that I hurt many people; that I am not perfect…. But despite all that, I am PROUDER to say, that I am willing to change, and that I HAVE changed.

My desire for being a better person everyday I offer to one person who served as my anchor, my source of strength and my inspiration. She is my mother. Now, if you ask me what my purpose in life is, it is to do whatever it is that will make her happy.  I love you ma, and thank you very much for your unconditional love.

Concludingly, I am speaking here to testify not about my passing of the board exam for teachers.
I am speaking here to talk about dreams. About life. About God.
I am here to testify that dreams do happen even the most impossible of all.
I am here to testify that life is all about trying.
I am here to testify that God is real; that He knows the desires of your heart; that He will never forsake you; and that God has a plan for you.

I do not take credit of whatever I have achieved. I am just an instrument of God’s love made possible through the persons around me who helped me achieve what I am now.

Mytholandia

This is my last Mytholandia experience. After having ventured with EEC's flagship program for 3 years, I can say that we have gone a long way in presenting to our growing audience the world of Greek Mythology. Needless to say, we earned P32,000 worth of ticket sales and solicitation. Awesome guys! :)

The year that was

I was drafting a post about how ridiculous my year 2011 went, but it's like taking me forever to find the right words to support such claim. For whatever it's worth, it was really a bad year for me. I'm just so glad that another year has come to bury the foregoing year and only take with me the scar that will remind me lessons of my fallibility. With that, I am more ready to face 2012 and start anew.

I can still remember how I welcomed the year 2012. I spent the first few minutes of the year in one corner praying and having to say only my words of gratitude for Him and nothing else. Probably, the year 2011 wasn't really that harsh on me. I realized I can be one lucky guy for having been able to experience being in the lowest point of my life. It gave me the oomph to stand up and to never fall down again.

I may not be the 2011 that I once hoped for, but it was worth every shit. Today, as I begin to write the new 365 pages of my year 2012, I will make sure that the each and every page will be far better than compared to last year. I hope 2012 will be a better year for me. But alongside hoping are striving, forgiving, loving and living.

Welcome year 2012! Please be nice to me. I'm sensitive.

Community Work

My ID was confiscated by the Discipline Officer and was replaced with a temporary pass. Only if I complied with the 8 hours of community work I can get my ID back.

During the community work, I rendered my service to the clinic and there I met a student from the IS who was not feeling well. His name's Ken. He's been waiting for his parents to pick him up for ages. Instead of helping at the clinic, I spent most of my time talking to him about Naruto. My classmate took a picture of him and I guess it's worth publishing. The next time I see him in La Salle, I wanna ask if he waited too long before his parents picked him up from school.

Max's

Our full plate of chicken bones taken at Max's Restaurant during their Chicken-all-you-can promo. I gobbled up 4 servings of chicken, while my cousin pigged-out with 7!

Food for the soul

It was my first time to hop in to this Pauline Books and Media here in the City, its a store where they sell religious items as part of the mission of Daughters of St. Paul in North America. (Oh Yea, I did a little research).

So, there's this fish bowl wherein inside it is a bunch of purled bits of papers containing a biblical passage. So i got one for myself and here's what it says:
"Yet even now, says the Lord, return to me with all your heart." -Joel 2:12
It got me moved! I know Dear God, Im sorry, and I love you.

I was with my lola that time, and she bought me these.
(Pics to follow)

I remember when I was a kid my lola also bought me a prayer booklet. Now this happens again. Big thanks to my lola for redirecting me to Him. God is good!

7 years since Oz World

7 years have passed when I first learned of OZ World, a 3D chat game from Level Up where IWONCLAN was first stabilized! It is no ordinary game. You won't be needing any weapons, armors, or power-ups just to enjoy the game. What you need is a good company of friends and that'd be good enough to keep you at play. However, that game went offline already in June of 2010. For us OZians, that's the time when we lost our home in the online world...but not our friends.

There in the game I met different people who left a mark in my heart. People whom I will forever treasure be it in the boundaries of the virtual highway or in this real world of how things are. Those are the people whom even in silence, our friendship is still shouting of gladness. To all my friends whom I am sharing this 7 years of friendship, thank you for the fondest memories that I will forever cherish...and for the undying friendship that even in the absence of an online game knows no bounds.

You know who you are.. Miss y'all loads!! Happy 7th Anniversary..IWC!
